Health Ministry

Mt. Horeb’s Health Ministry Committee provides blood pressure checks, glucose screenings, health-related educational events and health screenings, and coordinates the annual Red Cross Blood Drive. It also coordinates Care Teams, the care givers group that provides monthly contact and support with members when they have celebrations or experience grief or sickness.

The Health Committee maintains an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) and coordinates the certification of members in Red Cross Preparedness programs in CPR and AED.
