Worship & Music Committee

The Worship and Music Committee guides the development of worship services, music programs and related ministries of the congregation.  The committee assists the Church Council in ensuring that all worship services are conducted regularly and in accordance with the liturgy of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA), that servers (ushers, lay readers, communion assistants, altar guild volunteers, lay assistants, acolytes, and others) are recruited and appropriately trained, and that hymnals and other worship materials are provided and properly cared for. Worship and Music Committee members assist in arranging for the care of paraments, vestments and musical instruments and, in consultation with the pastor, the organist and/or choir director, secures music supplies for use in worship.
